How Elder John predicted coronavirus for Russia
With the next difficulties that fall to the lot of Russia, it is customary to recall the prophecies of the elders. It is not surprising that in recent months, the prediction of the elder John Krestyankin has been increasingly cited, in which he predicted the death of many Russians from the coronavirus.
Revered Elder
Archimandrite John (in the world Ivan Mikhailovich Krestyankin) is considered by the Russian Orthodox Church one of the most revered elders of the end of the past – the beginning of this century. He began serving God at the age of 6 as a sacristan, and at the age of 12 he first expressed a desire to take monastic vows. After school, he studied to be an accountant and for a long time even worked in a secular profession. In 1945, he began his church service as a deacon, but after 5 years he was convicted of anti-Soviet propaganda and sent to 7 years of strict regime in the Arkhangelsk camps. From 1967 until his death in 2006, he served in the Pskov-Pechora monastery, where believers from all over the world came to him for blessing and advice. Died at the age of 95. He was buried next to other monks in the catacombs of the Dormition Pskov-Pechora monastery.
Be careful and pray!
The book “The Monk of God” contains an excerpt written by Elder John on December 4-5, 2000 with his own hand. The prediction is written on notebook sheets in a cage. The text reads: “Stop and see what I allowed for your admonition without the sudden death of people. Do not look for the guilty! Pray! Be careful in life always and in everything!”. The original record is kept in the cell of Father John in the Pechora Monastery.
Metropolitan Tikhon (Shevkunov) of Pskov and Porkhov, in an interview for the Spas TV channel, said that for a long time the words of the prophecy of Elder John remained incomprehensible. Today, Metropolitan Tikhon cannot say with 100% certainty that the prediction refers to the coronavirus epidemic, but he does not exclude such a possibility. Vladyka told the TV channel that the revelation visited Elder John two nights in a row. But “having seen something terrible” – so terrible that it cannot be voiced, the elder wrote down a warning that contains a recipe for protection against coronavirus: “do not look for the guilty”, “pray” and “be careful”.
Rasputin’s “white plague”
The well-known prophecy of Grigory Rasputin about the “white plague” today is also inclined to decipher as a prediction of the coronavirus epidemic, although earlier AIDS, bird and swine flu, and Ebola were considered to be the “white plague”. In the prediction, the elder says that the “white plague” will begin after “Sodom and Gomorrah.” Her harbingers will be a change of dresses: men will begin to wear women’s clothes, and women – men’s. “Faceless death” will take the lives of millions, “mountains of corpses will be piled up in the squares”, there will not be enough hands to bury the dead. There is no cure that can stop the “white plague” that will come to purify humanity.
Recall that many of Rasputin’s predictions came true. In particular, the death of the royal family and the fall of the monarchy, the bloody change of power and the Civil War, disasters at nuclear power plants.
Coronavirus in other predictions
In the context of the spread of a monstrous infection, other prophecies are also recalled. So, the Tula elder Christopher predicted that “people would get sick a lot,” but he asked the believers not to despair, for these diseases were sent to “cleanse your souls.” The prophecies of Schema-Archimandrite Seraphim (Tryapochkin) say that people will be martyred “at the hands of the Chinese.” The blessed Kievan old woman nun Alipia predicted “the execution of peoples for their rotten state”, when “dead bodies will lie in mountains”, and there will be no one willing or able to bury them.
Coronavirus predictions are also contained in the authoritative Revelations of John the Theologian. Theologians and theologians are attracted by an excerpt from chapter 6 about the Lamb, removing one of the seven seals, and the appearance of the Rider on the white end in a crown and with a bow. The crown in this passage is interpreted as the “crown”, which is the first part of the name of the epidemic – “CORONAvirus”. It turns out that the “white rider” is COVID-19. Onions are metaphorically considered as a weapon that has a directed effect – the virus affects a specific category of people to a greater extent (with a weakened immune system, with chronic pathologies and the elderly).
The Bulgarian clairvoyant Vanga also predicted the coronavirus. True, she believed that the epidemic would not start from China, but from the Black Continent. Vanga said that the disease is rapidly attacking the whole world and will take many human lives. The soothsayer assured that it would take at least 12 months to find a cure.
The Chinese sage Liu Bowen predicted the coronavirus 600 years ago. He almost exactly guessed with the start date of the epidemic – September-October. Given that the first case of infection was recorded in Wuhan on December 1, 2019, the prophecy is confirmed. With an incubation period of 2 weeks, the infected person fell ill at the end of November, which is October in the Chinese lunar calendar. Liu Bowen also predicted that “those who do good” will be saved, and those who do evil “cannot hide” from death.
